Glacier National Park Shuttle System Project
During this project I worked with a team of five in coordination with employees of the Park to develop a report and recommendation for the future of the Glacier National Park Shuttle System. After a spike in visitation to the Park, a shuttle service was introduced to alleviate congestion on the Going to the Sun Road. Once the contract for this system expired, the Park and its employees were in a position to reconsider their delivery model for the shuttle service. We assessed the current system by interviewing park employees, visitors, and employees of the privately contracted shuttle providers. We then explored the systems in place in other parks around the country and made a formal recommendation to the employees of Glacier National Park. You can find the full report and recommendation below.
